FALL 2009

From the window of her treehouse Patricia is witness to the season changes, as greens become yellow and red and gold and sometimes just brown. Storms move across the horizon, distant views show low dark clouds, patches of rain, giving way to blue skies and big clouds. Fall is about change and preparation, a retreat from the sun and warmth that finally seem too harsh. Colors in the Fall Collection become more mysterious, rich, and satisfying in ways different from the lights and brights of Spring. Patricia works in linen year round, adding a heavy winter linen for fall. She knows that linen is a good fabric to wear all year, strong and textured, good for trips to warm climates and in our increasingly warmer weather. Add sensuous textured silks and the Fall Collection is complete.
